June favorites
Hi my loves! I apologize for not having posted any review for a long time.
Its been a rainy month out here. The weather is just so awesome I've been having a good relationship with my bed lately. Lol
Anyways back to the post. Introducing my June favorites...... Toofaced chocolate bar palette. This is a awesome neutral palette by www.toofaced.com it costs $49. I would like to warn you that this palette smells like real chocolate literally!! Every time I open it the delicious chocolate smell melts me! haha. Its made of real cocoa powder that's why.!!
Now the packaging, when my mom saw it she thought I was holding a chocolate bar 😂! Toofaced have the cutest packaging for their products, really!!
In this palette you get a total of 16 eyeshadows including matte shimmers frost etc. What I really like about this palette is that its so versatile you can create a simple day look with it and achieve a dramatic night look as well. The eyeshadows are pigmented and they blend effortlessly. To be honest I prefer this palette than the Urban decay naked palettes.
Here are the swatches *without a primer* 😍
My next June favorite is Sleek rose gold blusher. This blusher costs $6.99
This blusher is amazing! Its insanely pigmented. It has a peachy pink rosy gold sheen to it.
It is beautiful. It works on all skin tones. It can apply really pigmented light skin tones so may want to use a light hand on applying it. I like to use Real techniques blush brush to apply this blush on my cheeks for a diffused look.
You can purchase the blusher here www.sleekmakeup.com
Until next time.. Stay beautiful.. xoxo

Sigma Eye Brushes Review
Hello beauties!
Ever since I really got into makeup I wanted to own makeup brushes! There are a lot of high end brushes in the makeup industry like Mac, Tom Ford, Bobbi brown etc. I wanted some pretty good brushes without having to pay a huge sum.
Luckily a couple of months back Sigma had a free shipping worldwide offer on their website so I jumped at the opportunity and grabbed myself their eye brushes and one palette which was on a discount of 10%.
Sigma brushes are extremely soft and they are half the price of mac brushes. I have used their brushes for about four months and that is enough time to be able to give you my honest opinion on them! I promise these brushes are amazing and you wont regret a single penny you spend on them.
!!!Drums rolls!!!...... Presenting my Sigma brushes.........Tadaaa!!
Sigma E30-Pencil brush:
According to sigma: "Soften pencil liners along the top and bottom lash lines, add shadow to line the eyes, or use to highlight inner corner of eyes".
This brush does exactly what is meant to do. I use this brush for smudging dark eye shadow ( i.e. MUG corrupt) on my lower lash line for that smokey effect and it does an amazing job.
Also I like to use this brush to apply dark colors on the outer corners of my eyes as well as on my crease to add depth to my eyes.
I haven't tried this brush for the inner corner highlight since I own just one and I cant use it with all the dark colors on my brush. When I'm not lazy and finally decide to wash it (hihi) I'll definitely try it for highlighting first thing.
Sigma E45-Tapered blending brush:
According to Sigma: "Picking up color with just the tip of the brush, apply intense colors to the crease to add depth and dimension to the eye".
I like to use this brush to apply dark colors to define my crease. The pointed tip allows me to apply and slightly blend the color to the crease.
Sigma E35 Tapered blending brush:
According to sigma: "Using just the tip of the brush to pick up color, apply product directly onto the crease and sweep through. Effect is blended, but defined".
Oh my God, I looooooove this brush. It is my favourite blending brush. I love how this brush gives me that blended effect of transition color to my crease. I sweep this brush back and forth (wind shield motion) and gives me that airbrushed finish with no harsh lines. I am so happy with this brush.
I did notice some little shedding when I first received this brush, but after washing it there was NO shedding at all. Also it got rid of that animal hair smell it had before.
Sigma E20-Short shader brush:
According to sigma: "Concentrated color application .Apply color onto small areas of the eye such as the outer eyelid. Also use to smudge the lower lash line".
Did I mention that I'm such a huge fan of smokey eyes. Because of that I need to have enough brushes to help me work with dark colors well. Now this guy here qualifies to be one among my favorite sigma brushes because it has stiff bristles which allows me to apply some intense dark colors concentrated just on my lower lashline. As always MUG Corrupt is my favorite, it is the blackest black eyeshadow I have ever used. I like to this brush just to apply the color corrupt on my water line and it has not disappointed me.
Also I have tried to use this brush to pack glitters & pigments and it works just fine.
Sigma E21-Smudge brush:
According to sigma: "Apply and smudge color onto the upper and lower lash lines".
I tried to use this brush for smudging colors on my lower lash lines I wasn't that impressed. Its not a bad brush its just the size of this brush is so small and for smudging colors takes a long time. But I do like to use it to highlight inner corners of my eyes. its works best for me that way.
Sigma E55- Eye shading brush:
According to sigma: "Place color across the entire lid for an even and strong application of product".
When I first saw this brush I thought it might be big for my eyelids but its the perfect size to apply color on my big eyelids. However if you got small eyelids this brush may just be a little big for you. You can opt for E56 Shader lid its not as big as the E55 and it works the same.
Sigma E10- Small eyeliner:
According to sigma: "Precise application of liner. Use with gel or liquid liners".
This is my favorite eyeliner brush for gel liners. It helps me create that perfect straight line, its oh so great. Sigma has done a great job with this brush.
Sigma E25- Blending:
According to sigma: "Blend colors together onto the lid with added control. Buff out harsh lines for a well-blended effect".
This is the best brush ever.! If someone hated me and throw me in a desert and I could pick just one brush, this will be IT!.(Why would someone do that hahaha). With this brush you can do your entire eye look. I love love love this brush!! I use it to pack colors on my eye lids, to smudge colors on my lower lash line for that smokey effect, to blend dark colors on my crease, whatever it is you mention this brush will do it for you!.
People say this brush is a dupe for Mac 217, I don't own the Mac brush so I cant really say much about this. Overall the sigma E25 is my all time sigma favorite brush. I'm so happy they sent me I will definitely purchase a couple of this brush.
If you are looking for some good quality brushes without having to pay a huge sum, I highly recommend Sigma brushes. They are affordable and every month Sigma has a 10% discount on your total order and a free gift with all $30 purchases. Coupon code for May is"MAY2014". It is valid until end of the month.

Lipstick or Lip gloss?
Lipstick or Lipgloss?
Monday, May 12, 2014
Have you ever been in a situation where you have your eye makeup all done whether its a smokey eye or just a simple winged eyeliner and you have no clue what to finish your look with a lipstick or a lip gloss? Yes!! I know how it feels, I've been there too..
Let me tell you love its all about preference!! If you are a fan of bold lipsticks or just a neutral tone lip gloss to complement your whole look, go for it!! However, here comes the ''BUT'' Lol.
There are things that a girl has to consider before putting that dark matte lipstick to finish your black smokey eyes and end up looking like The Devil from the other side.
Brands that I personally like which offers a range of mate colors to choose from and have a great lasting power are the mac www.maccosmetics.com , Sephora cream lip stains www.sephora.com
So here we have it. The battle for lipsticks vs lip glosses. Let me know what are your thoughts. xoxo
